Whether you love them or not, the oversized sweater dress trend has some staying power, and it’s staying through spring. I have to admit, I have always loved a good sweater dress, but not when it looks like I borrowed my Dad’s sweater, and when I clearly cannot bend it like Beckham without showing my Britney. We all have our limits.

I found the one I am wearing from LAMade and I love it. It’s a little bit longer, knit and not as bulky as many I have seen.

The Key: Less bulk, more length, dress-like details and a lighter color that will let you wear now and wear later.

What I love about the one I have on is the cold-shoulder cut-out and scoop neck details, which make it look like less of an oversized sweater and more of a tunic dress. This one is perfect to make that transition into spring weather, and the color works now and later.

I found several others that I think are the perfect length, color, and style for the end-of-winter into the warmer months and I have linked them below. My top picks are the Misguided Oversized Long Sleeve Sweater Dress, the Lovers & Friends Suki Sweater Dress and the Kendall + Kylie V-Neck Pullover. Love the retro look of the Kendall + Kylie dress. But, all of them are great choices and range in price from $22 to $168.
