I cannot even begin to explain the agony I have associated with the holidays. I am all about Holiday JOMO. I will joyfully miss out all day and night long and be perfectly content to pretend it is not happening. However, since I have kids and all things Holiday start at the end of October these days, I cannot hide under a blanket and I finally started scouring the ends of the internet to find gifts I would love to give (or receive). I am sharing the ultimate holiday girls’ gift guide, complete with items from an early and major sale from Serena & Lily; all 25% off through 12.3 along with some other items I love.
HOSTESS GIFTS
For every good party or long-weekend spent where you did not lift a finger, there is an even better hostess behind it that slips in and out like a Ninja. The kind that knows your drink is low before you do. It is so easy to forget the level of effort that goes into hosting; especially, during the holidays. Holy stressful. I love the gracious hostess that tells me it took no effort, it was super easy and she’ll do it again next week. Love that, but let’s face it, unless there is a staff, that hostess is working her little behind off to make sure our lives are perfect and they deserve something for the efforts.
Serena & Lilly is a brand that I fell in love with from the minute I first saw the blue hues. They make high-quality pieces that are beachy, preppy, casual and elegant all at the same time. However, their pieces are not inexpensive so when you can shop at 25% off, DO IT! I’ve pulled together gift ideas for your no. 1 hostess that range in price from low to high.
My favorite for a well-priced gift a hostess needs after a long night are the slippers. Add a note: “Kick Your Feet Up & Relax. You deserve it.” and you are done! The toile tray below is Serena & Lily’s modern take on toile and features a seaside scene. Such a fun serving tray for any hostess: preppy, chic or boho. The bathrobe is a higher-end item, but a turkish bathrobe is the ultimate gift for a hostess, like a Mother-in-Law, that just spent a week with you and your kids.

She’s practical, she values time and does not want a lot of fuss, She travels light and loves things that will work for many situations. My top gifts for this boss babe are the tech gloves, the delicate necklace from Julie Vos and the Vacay Bag. If she likes her phone as much as the rest of us, Tech gloves are definitely the way to her heart. The simple delicate necklace from Julie Vos is 24K gold-plated and super high-quality She can wear it all the time, it’s timeless and adds a finishing touch without having to try. The Vacay Bag is a winner. It’s casual, chic and durable and every girls needs a stylish travel bag.

GIFTS FOR THE GIRLS WHO HAS IT ALL (AND IN MORE THAN ONE COLOR)
You know the one. She buys three of the same sweater, she has at least two Louis bags, a Chanel and she has the perfect dress for every occasion. Her house is perfection. We love her because she generally keeps the world in line. However, what do you buy someone that already owns it all?
First thing, cashmere gloves. They are a luxury item, but these are $49. They keep hands warmer than ski gloves, in my opinion, and they are so soft. The Ugg slippers are a must. She may be on the go, but she needs downtime every once in a while and these will keep her cozy. The passport holder—I’ll bet she has one, and I will bet it’s half the size and only holds a passport and cards. I’ve searched for this style for a long time. The travel document holder that holds your passport, boarding pass and all the other acquired things you get when you leave the country. This one comes in a ton of colors so you can get her a few in multiple colors to match her sweaters.:) The coin hoops are such a great addition to her jewelry wardrobe. Julie Vos is known for quality pieces that make a statement, but still have a very classic style.

1. Origins Travel Kit ($29) 2. Day Tripper Bag ($99) 3. Uggs Coquette Slippers ($73) 4. Coin Statement Earring ($135) 5. Julie Pendant ($165) 6. Gwyneth Paltrow It’s All Good Cookbook ($19) 7. Passport Holder ($120) 8. Cashmere Gloves $49)
Of course, if all else fails, go plaid or go home. Rounded up a few of top plaid picks here.
