I am usually not a mid-length skirt kind of girl, but this one had me at “blue and white and ruffles.” And, I saw a very similar skirt to this one that I was obsessed with, but I was not obsessed with the $695 price tag! This cute little skirt is only $29.99 and you can wear this through fall and into next spring and summer. It has a flat front at the top, and elastic in the back so it is very forgiving, and I love the fit and the movement you get with the skirt; it’s girly and fun.
I’ve shown it with my favorite J.Crew sweater (linked right in two colors) and some fun floral shoes that I can’t stop wearing. I’ve added a longer, more causal necklace and simple neutral bag for an easy look, as well as a more colorful oversized clutch and link necklace for a slightly dressier approach. This would be the perfect outfit for a dinner party, date night, Sunday brunch or a shower.
I would also pair this skirt with a bolder, kelly green or fuchsia sweater to give the outfit a little pop. And for a more casual look, I would wear this with a graphic t-shirt. You can dress this skirt up or down, depending on the event.
