Mustard is one of the top trending colors for fall. I have to confess (more of ketchup girl…I know, stop, that was bad) I don’t own a lot of pieces in this color. It can be a bit harder to pull off with certain skin tones, but this dress is impossibly feminine and so cute, I could not resist. p.s. It comes in bordeaux, too. I love the sheer lace on the arms, the ruffle details and plunging neckline. This is the perfect party dress for all the upcoming cocktail parties with friends, and will work through spring. And, it’s also fun for a night out.
I’ve paired it with nude, three-strap heels, which I love, but the nude version of this shoe is low in stock. However, if you are going to an event, this shoe also comes in a metallic, which would work well with this dress. Since these shoes are so simple and chic, the metallic would also be perfect with jeans and a cute top for date night; you can dress them up or down.
I have on statement earrings by Rebecca Minkoff; emerald green is the dominant color. I chose these specifically to add a jewel toned around my face to offset the yellow. They are also a little more downtown chic, which I liked since the rest of the dress is ultra-girly.
